CRITICS REVIEW

AMANDA AAYUSYA (All Film Magazine)

Rating: ★★★1/2

BLOGGERS REVIEW

AMIR SYARIF SIREGAR (Amir at the Movies)

The potrayal of a young artistic talent trapped in a commercial world of showbiz on Life is pretty much generic and shallow. Luckily, both Dane DeHaan and Robert Pattinson are fantastic on playing their one-dimensional characters. DeHaan and Pattinson’s performances are the only best thing that kept Life from being …well… dead. Rating: ★★★

DANIEL IRAWAN (Dan at the Movies)

While DeHaan might not be the best to portray James Dean, Life is an interesting story beyond that iconic Times Square image and more. Rating: ★★★1/2

ELBERT REYNER (A Cinephile’s Diary)

Though it offers us a fascinating glimpse at the short life of James Dean, Life ends up to be a mediocre film lead by amazing performances. Rating: ★★★

REINO EZRA ANRETI (Ajirenji Mindstream Reviews)

NA. Rating: ★★1/2

PASKALIS DAMAR (Sinekdoks)

Life is surprisingly a showcase of mature performance by DeHaan and Pattinson. It has the energy but not voluptuous. Life isn’t merely a moving story but the depicted bromance is so strong that I probably need to drop the “b.” The rest of Life is close to boring unless you admit those guys are hot. Rating: ★★★

VINCENT JOSE (The Jose Movie Review)

Life was an enjoyable double self-discoveries story with great performances. Love it! Rating: ★★★1/2
