BLOGGERS REVIEW
Genius is no strokes of … well … genius. But the strong, excellent performances of its … well … genius cast glued the movie together. Sadly, as a movie about literary bromance between a writer and its editor, Genius needs rewrite to dig more of its characters and stories. The fine and steady performances of its cast really help Genius to provide the emotional engagements its story badly needed. Kinda sucks to see Kidman and Linney’s huge talents got wasted in such limited, undercooked roles on Genius though. Rating: ★★★
Genius could be great but ended up just fair. Though might meant that way, Law’s manic act and Firth’s flat face didn’t get along with the emotions. Rating: ★★★
